Write the Right Kind of Goals
Goal #1: Feel better about myself in all ways.
Goal #2: Enjoy my life and family more.
Goal #3: Do the things I want to do without feeling self-conscious.
I want to be healthier. I think that is going to be key in reaching my goals.
I did not mention health in my goals, but better health and increased fitness will be essential.
I have been through this before.
I know the basics of what I need to do to get there.
The implementation is always the key difficulty.
Notice that nowhere in my goals do I mention diet, weight, exercise.
I will have to address those issues to reach my goals, but they are not my goals.
My goals are a bit loftier and more holistic.
It is time to state the facts in black and white, no longer hide any of it, be vulnerable.
Stats: 50 years old, female, starting weight 286.4, little to no activity, eats whatever
It is time to turn this "fat cat" into this "this healthy cat".
